The Opticon MDI-1000 is a cost-effective 2D CMOS imager scan module ideal for mobile, medical or kiosk devices. It features a 1.3 megapixel imager that captures images at a rate of up to 30 frames per second. The 2D CMOS imager can even scan LCD screens!

The MDI-1000 offers a high degree of integration flexibility – the small camera size and flexible cable length between the camera and decode board make it easy to fit into OEM devices. MDI-1000 product highlights include:
